Tutak Tutak Tutiya is a Hindi romantic masala film. The movie was released in the year 2009 and the story is about a girl named Tanya who falls in love with her best friend Sunil. It is an Indian film, starring Dev Anand's grandson, Rahul Dev Burman. The film also stars Bhoomika Chawla, Priyanka Kothari, Rajat Bedi and others. It has been directed by Shiboo Sundar Gadhvi and has been produced by Ajay Virmani Films Pvt Ltd. The film is a remake of the Tamil film 'Pappa' which was later remade in Telugu as 'Arya'. The film was shot in Goa, Panjim, Pilerne. The film was out on 4 April 2009. Tanya (Bhoomika Chawla) is a village girl who has just arrived in Mumbai to become an actress. She meets Sunil (Rahul Dev Burman), her best friend from her childhood days. He now works as an assistant director for Laxmi Prasad Singhania (Rajat Bedi). Sunil is a flirtatious guy and Tanya falls for him, but she knows how her family feels about him. And so, she tells Sunil that he is too old for her and she also advises him not to fall in love with her. She then sets out to the city of Mumbai where she meets a girl named Priya (Priyanka Kothari). Priya had been abandoned by her husband and was being treated poorly by him. Later on, Tanya comes to know that Priya has come to Mumbai with a plan to kill Sunil as revenge for their past which has made both of them enemies since childhood.The soundtrack was composed by Satish Chakravarthy. The album has 10 songs. The film was released on 4 April 2009. The film had a good opening and the first weekend the film collected nett. The review from The Times of India said, "Dev Anand's grandson makes a heady debut with TUTAK TUTIK TUTIYA! Though there is no doubt that Rahul Dev Burman is a chip off the old block, he has tried to play it safe and we must give him full marks for attempting something different and for putting his body and soul into it. The plot, which has been borrowed from the Tamil film Pappa, is okay but the main drawback is the similarity in plot and characters with this remake". The film was out on 4 April 2009. Rahul Dev Burman is still in school.
